Ace broadcaster, Kwasi Kyei Darkwah has been arrested following claims made by a lady of rape.
He was arrested on saturday night after the lady filed a complaint. The fashion icon who is famous for his impeccable English is being held by the Airport Police Command for the alleged non-bailable offence. His alleged victim is a nineteen year old lady known as Effe.
KKD in an interview with an Accra based Fm presenter at the crime scene on Sunday said that certainly someone would have heard the lady fight him off if he indeed raped her. According to him, the two of them had drinks together after their “consensual” sexual intercourse and thus befuddled by the turn of events.
The father of two has been taken back to the Airport Police station where he is expected to spend the night.
Many of his friends and loved ones swamped the crime scene as well as the police station to show their solidarity.
